Agent Installation Overview

For precompiled applications, we recommend using the NuGet installation method; otherwise, the install can be done manually using our manual install instructions.

For MVC sites, please use the NuGet installation method.

If you have not already installed the Toolkit module, then please click here to walk through the Full Installation process. If you have already installed Toolkit, and you just need to install the Agent, then you are in the right place. Click the Next Step button to continue.

IMPORTANT: 
The Agent can be installed on Kentico 12.0, 11.0, 10.0, 9.0, and 8.2. If that doesn't work for you, let us know.

REMINDER:
This installation process adds files to the bin directory, which will cause a recompile. You should only run this on a development site or during a maintenance window on production.
