cms-settingskey-404-unpublished-pages
Summary
Having the Page not found for non-published pages setting allows users to view pages even if they are not currently published. Usually this not desired as it does not allow you to hide pages from the live site such as a recurring campaign pages or content that is still in progress.
Check Logic
Constant Care for Kentico will ensure the Page not found for non-published pages setting is true (default)
You can manage your settings for this checkup in the Constant Care for Kentico admin settings.
Resolution
Portal Sites
To determine what your site's Page not found for non-published pages setting is set to you can navigate to the Settings Application and then find the Content settings.
From there you will want to verify if the Page not found for non-published pages box is checked. It is the first setting in the first section of that page. We highly recommend keeping the setting on.
