Unprocessed Search Tasks




Smart Search Indexes can be problematic at times. For a number of reasons, search tasks (typically rebuild, reindex tasks) can get hung up. Sometimes this has to do with the file system locking some of the Lucene files, sometimes it is due to "bad" content. There are a number of possible causes.

Check Logic

Constant Care for Kentico will ensure the number of unprocessed Search Index Tasks is no more than 0 (default)

You can manage your settings for this checkup in the Constant Care for Kentico admin settings.

Verifying The Check

Go to the Smart Search application and the Event Log. If clearing tasks and rebuilding the indexes does not fix your problem, you may want to contact your Kentico Partner to help you through this one.
